Yesterday was the final day of the 2013 Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo, the annual meeting of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. It’s a leading yearly event for food and nutrition professionals where the latest nutrition science information, foodservice trends and access to the top experts are showcased. More than 8,000 registered dietitians, nutrition science researchers, policy makers, health-care providers and industry leaders attend and NCA was honored to have been part of the event as one of some 350 exhibitors.
NCA first exhibited at FNCE last year, but this year’s booth was even better. Representatives from NCA showcased information on moderation and mindful consumption of candy, and a portion of our booth was reserved to highlight the special role of chocolate – how it’s grown and processed, and the health properties associated with it.
